Rule 618. Holding an Opponent

1. A minor penalty shall be imposed on a player who holds an opponent with hands or stick or in any other way.

2. A major plus a game misconduct penalty shall be imposed on a player who grabs or holds the facemask of an opponent with his hand.

   For Juniors only - A major plus game ejection penalty option also applies under subsection (b) of this rule.
