Rule 602. Adjustment to Clothing and Equipment
- Play shall not be stopped, nor the game delayed by reason of
adjustment to clothing, equipment, skates or sticks.
- For an infringement of this rule, a minor penalty shall be
assessed.
- The onus of maintaining clothing and equipment in proper condition
shall be upon the player. If adjustments are required, the player shall
retire from the ice and play shall continue uninterruptedly with a
substitute.
- No delay shall be permitted for the repair or adjustment of
goalkeeper's equipment. If adjustments are required the goalkeeper will
retire from the ice and his place will be taken by the
substitute or
temporary goalkeeper (See Glossary)
immediately and no warm-up will be permitted
unless the team uses its time-out.
- For an infraction of this rule by a goalkeeper, a minor penalty
shall be imposed.
