Rule 306. Puck

  1. The puck shall be made of vulcanized rubber, or other approved material, one inch thick and three inches in diameter and shall weigh between five and one-half ounces and six ounces and be black in color. For the 8 or Under (Mite) and below age classifications, it is recommended that the puck weigh between four ounces and four and one-half ounces and be blue in color.

  2. For Juniors only - The home team shall be responsible for providing an adequate supply of official pucks which shall be kept frozen. This supply of pucks shall be kept at the penalty bench under the control of one of the Off-Ice Officials.
