Introduction

Hello, and welcome to the online version of the USA Hockey Rulebook. This hypertext document is, for the most part, a direct transcription of the printed version of the Rulebook. It was transcribed by myself, Ken Zalewski, and being human, I make no guarantee as to the correctness of my transcription. In addition, my only affiliation with USA Hockey is as a level four official. I am also the president of the Capital District Ice Hockey Officials Association (CDIHOA), the local officials organization that handles Youth and Junior hockey in the greater Albany area of New York State.

The Rulebook is copyrighted material, and it appears online only because USA Hockey has granted me permission to do so, with the condition that it not be transmitted to people via any means other than the World-Wide Web. In other words, do not send me e-mail asking for a full textual copy of the Rulebook.

In addition, I claim a personal copyright on the hypertext version of this document. No reproduction and/or redistribution of the HTML files contained in this directory is permitted. You are, however, welcome to create a link to this page from your own website.
